Simply & Complex
Simply and Complex Lore
Simply is a Catcubus, as has already been stated previously! He and his brother both are, actually. Neither of them every truly give a clear answer on HOW this curse befell them exactly, but it's clear from how Simply picks at Complex about it whenever it's brought up that it was Complex's fault. Complex has always been a trouble maker, having spend his teens and early 20s in a gang and up to no good in general. He's just always had a mean streak I suppose! He only got of said gang due to his late girlfriend's insistence.
Simply has mostly spend his life just doing a little of this and a little of that-usually activities that benefitted someone in his life in one way or another. The one thing that he's only done for himself has been to sing. However, something happened that shifted the way his voice sounds and registers, so he's been having a bit of trouble retuning what he knows in a way that he can sing well. As it stands, he usually can be seen either play a very base level of tech support for a certain bartender, doodling art and emotes on his tablet, or lounging around his hangout chatting with his friends and the community he's found since starting to stream and reach out to others online.
Silvenain Rose Lore
Rose is a model based on an aspect of my Fantasy World I've been developing for a novel I'm writing (and have been for a very long time) known as a Silvenain Rose, a crystal petaled rose that blooms only in the moonlight and is responsive to music and singing. Rose is a Nymph born of one of these Crystalline Roses. Ironically, they are completely mute themselves and do not speak, save through magical means in very rare circumstances. Rose is quite modest for a Nymph and was pretty much shunned away from the other Nymphs because of this. They are, as far as they're aware, the only nymph born of a Silvenain Rose, so they don't really have a place they feel they properly belong. However, one day while wandering in the Fey forest after being rejected by group after group of nymphs, they stumbled upon a mystical castle which is owned by a solitary shapeshifter. They would soon come to find out the shapeshifter wasn't as alone as they first thought, but that's a story for a different day!
Now they reside in the Shifter's Castle and have brought flowers and magic to the once drab and dull respite and have decided to branch out into the world (no pun intended!) and see if they can find others who would also accept them as they are!
Chibi Form Lore
Have you ever had the thought "oh how I wish I could go back and talk to my child self?" Well... So did Simply! And unlike most people who logically understand this is nothing more than a silly little dream thought and can't actually be attained, he decided to do some research. And what he found? Using the multiversal energies the bar gives off (or maybe runs on? Who knows? certainly not Simply!) he found a way to reach into an alternate version of the universe he resided in and pull out a child version of himself that he could speak to! Or... so he thought. What he ended up actually doing is creating a bit of a tear in time and space that effects the areas he interacts with often (The Castle, The Cross Bar, The Hangout) with an anomolous energy that instead reverts himself and others around to their child forms!
Skye Lore
Skye is a Tiefling and my current character in the D&D Campaign "Before The Dusk" run by SageParsley8007 on Twitch!
Skye is, as stated, a Tiefling. He is a Barbarian with an attachment to one of the more important and powerful NPCs known as Saladin. He looks up to Saladin and very much has a one sided parent-child relationship with him.
